  8. View Foxton locks again, this time in better weather.
  9. View The world rushes past while I wait to descend Watford.

A great trip which broke a little new territory and afforded another new boating experience! We travelled down the Grand Union Canal from Braunston to Norton Junction and along the Leicester arm towards the Watford staircase locks. Passing through these, we headed on towards the Foxton locks. Having worked down the flight we turned right and up the Market Harborough arm towards Market Harborough where we turned and traced our steps back home.

Total locks completed - 50

This included 8 tunnel passages and 26 staircase locks completed!
