An ambitious trip this year! Up the Rochdale, over the Pennines and back home via the Huddersfield Narrow Canal and the famous Standedge tunnel - the longest, deepest and highest narrow canal tunnel in te world. Plenty of locks and some interesting experiences. the tunnel is a 'not to be missed' experience although the organisation and lack of maintenance on the part of bw in order to get you there is seriously lacking1
