Here are a selection of pictures of Simba. Simba is my 2 yr old Border Collie cross German Shepherd rescued from Birmingham Dogs Home at the beginning of October 2003. He is incredibly at home on board despite a few 'falls' into the canal. On one occasion he fell into the bottom of a lock chamber with both paddles fully open! A few hair-raising moments later and he could be seen belly up struggling. Unceremoniously, he was plucked from the lock by the end of the boat hook but at least he learnt his lesson and now sits and stays on the bank whilst I lock the boat through!
