This website has been created to allow family, friends and interested visitors an insight into my life aboard Khayamanzi. Khayamanzi is my 55 foot narrowboat, built by Liverpool Boats, fitted out by The New Boat Company and launched in June 2003.

Not only is it my boat - it is also my home of choice!

Formerly moored at Trinity Marina on the Ashby canal, I am now based at the new Brinklow Marina on the North Oxford Canal as one of the caretaker/security boats.

The name 'Khayamanzi' is a zulu word which means, 'Water Home' and, as my father and I have many friends in South Africa, the name seemed appropriate.

Khayamanzi is also home to Simba, my 6 year old, Border Collie cross German Shepherd 'Pets As Therapy' dog.
